I am my first baby.
I am my best friend.
I need to hear the thoughts of others, because my view is incomplete.
My pets are not my children, though I may love them in their innocent dependence. They are my roommates, non-human companions—fully formed beings with their own needs. And they are domesticated, wild things my species has changed beyond recognition from their earliest forms. My pets are my responsibility, because my ancestors have infant-alized them. That doggo is a little man.
I am learning to get into my body before I get into the asana or activity. To feel myself sink into my edges and fill my middle before I move into any shape of myself.
Connection is in the body. Reach out, invite. Receive. Hold/be held. Breathe. Synchronize. Release.
Intuition is just thinking with your body. And listening.
