McCarthyism was a very bad time, well before Meta and other companies had ALL OF OUR PERSONAL DATA. The selective use of the Constitution--the weaponizing of the Constitution against this country's population and citizens. Opportunists WILL Obey in Advance, attempt to Enforce in Advance of laws to back their actions, to see what they can get away with. But this is a violation of Constitutional rights. If nobody says anything, that is how ground is taken. It's how rights are taken away.

McCarthyism was a dark time in this country's history. The current federal administration is sending letters to departments to slash information shared to the country's citizens. They are asking employees to report their coworkers, at risk of adverse consequences if they choose not to report within a 10 day timeframe, in some agencies.
In a time like this, actions like the one your channel took, to terminate an employee for sharing her dissent to what is taking place before our very eyes, feels incredibly dangerous. It is difficult to teach my children about the tenets of a democracy, when this is the news we are receiving.
Citing Newsweek, and the opinion of Congressman Dan Goldman, "Goldman, co-chair of the House Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism, said in a statement on Tuesday that Musk had "repeatedly" promoted antisemitic and racist rhetoric, while arguing that his gesture was clearly a demonstration of a salute meant to show "support for Hitler."
"Elon Musk has repeatedly pushed for the racist and antisemitic 'Great Replacement' conspiracy theory, endorsed the Nazi-sympathizing German Political Party AfD, and allowed anti-Jewish hate to proliferate unabated on his website, X," said Goldman in the statement, which was emailed to Newsweek on Tuesday."
We are letting it happen. And authorities like yourself, the news, are enabling it to happen. And it is not ok.
Any "vulgarity" she demonstrated in her post, is not of concern. For my children, I have told them swearing is acceptable. Fascism and breaking our democracy are not.
